This workshop places added emphasis on the proper shaping of a blade. Sessions will focus on edge and taper geometry using the hammer and the grinder. As an introduction to “forge welding” students will create a laminated 3-layer billet that can be used for one or more Swedish style knives.
NOTE: The instructor may contact registered students to assess whether their bladesmithing knowledge and experience adequately meet the requirement of this workshop. If not, students will be offered a full refund or may transfer their full funds to a different TACS course.♦
